My name is Nick Goldsmid and 10 years ago, I was given the challenge to get a band together to play at a party.

I had always wanted to be a rockstar but had only ever sung in the choir at school and could only ever dream of living the dream. Luckily it happened and I now sing regularly with a group (The Repertoire Dogs) of very talented musicians who have all been there, done that!

I know that there are many people who really want to do the same - sing or play their instrument alongside famous names, even if it is only for a day. They would have their song/performance recorded to take home and tell their family and friends that they have played alongside famous rockstars, hence my idea - Living the Dream!

All these musicians are my friends in the business who are very ‘human’ and totally understanding to us less experienced musicians, so I can assure you that you will have a fun day which will not be intimidating at all.
